Chapter History

How Dragon's Back PLEMC Originated

Dragon's Back PLEMC is a motorcycle club that was established March 6th, 2021. It was founded by C-Town, Beowulf, Hammer and another member who wanted to create a chapter that was family-friendly and focused on integrity and honor. C-Town had previously been a member of a dissolved chapter in Bluefield WV called Black Gold, but decided to start a new chapter in Southwest Virginia. The founders were concerned about unnecessary conduct with in the chapter and wanted to create a club that they could share with their families. Dragon's Back PLEMC is committed to brotherhood, respect, and community involvement.

There are organizations that say they serve the community… and then there are groups like this one that truly live it. This club is so much more than motorcycles and patches. It’s a brotherhood and sisterhood built from people who already dedicate or have dedicated their lives to protecting others, but who still choose to give even more of their time off-duty. When the tones drop, they run toward emergencies. And when the shift ends, they’re still out here raising money, organizing benefits, supporting families in crisis, and standing beside people on the worst days of their lives.

I’ve watched this club show up in many different ways. They don’t do it for attention. They don’t do it for recognition. They do it because in service to others is who they actually are. The motorcycles get people’s attention, but the hearts behind the handlebars are what make the real impact. You can see it in the way they honor the fallen, and in the way they support each other. They carry strength, compassion, and loyalty everywhere they go. Our communities are safer, kinder, and stronger because of groups like this. Thank you for representing what service truly means.
